Gladys Aylward's Main Activities in Yangcheng of Shanxi Province

上世纪30年代,英国传教士格蕾蒂斯·艾伟德在山西阳城传教,后加入中国籍,抗战期间带领100多名孤儿从阳城到达陕西。她在中国的传教经历被改编成电影《六福客栈》,在西方广为人知。

Gladys Aylward,an English missionary,did missionary work in Yangcheng of Shanxi Province during the 1930s,and then took Chinese nationality.During the Anti-Japanese War,she led more than 100 orphans from Yangcheng to Shaanxi.Her experience as a missionary in China was adapted as a movie,The Liufu Inn,which is well known in the western world.
