The Inspiration of Poetry creation — On Wonderful Realization

妙悟是佛学术语,为禅宗所重,指对佛法的新解和觉悟。而在严羽的《沧浪诗话》中,他借用禅法来讲述诗歌创作的原理,他认为所谓"妙悟"是针对"兴趣"而说的,也就是现代人说的灵感。妙悟在诗歌创作中,特别是在诗歌创作的萌芽阶段具有重要的作用。

Wonderful Realization was a Buddhist term that was praised highly by Zen,which referred to the new explanation and consciousness about Buddhist doctrine. And in Yan Yu＇s the poem theory of canglang,he used Dhyana to elaborate the principle of poetry creation. He believed that so-called ＂Wonderful Realization＂ was aimed at ＂interest＂,that is,＂inspiration＂ called by modern people. Wonderful Realization played an important role in poetry creation,especially in the embryonic stage.
