摘要
"什么是受过教育的人?"作为教育领域的核心问题之一,它从根本上关涉的是教育目的问题。20世纪60年代以来,人们从不同的视角对这一问题进行了广泛的探究。文章选取并分析了其中四种较具代表性的视角,即以彼得斯为代表的认知视角、以怀特为代表的伦理视角、以马丁为代表的性别视角和以鲍斯玛等为代表的历史视角,进而对这些视角之间的张力进行了反思,探讨了"受过教育的人"概念在中国语境中的独特性。
"What is an educated person?" It is one of the critical issues which are relevant to the aims of education. Since the 1960s, it has been extensively explored from the different perspectives. This paper picks up and analyzes four more representative perspectives among them, namely the cognitive perspective by Peters, the ethical perspective by White, the gender perspective by Martin and the historical perspective by Bouwsma. Furthermore, this paper attempts to figure out some tensions among them , and then explores the particular usage of "educated person" in Chinese context.
