摘要
文章先简述英语中的ECM结构及其句法特点,基于乔姆斯基的最简方案的探针—目标一致关系理论,推导生成含有附加语和虚指词there的ECM结构;并通过例证探讨最简句法的两个操作限制条件:不可见限制条件和部分提取限制条件。
This article first provides a brief introduction to English ECM clauses and its syntactic traits, then summarizes Minimalist theory of Probe-goal Relations（ Chomsky 2007,2008,2010）. Under minimalist a- nalysis,detailed derivations are presented of ECM structures with adjuncts and expletive there. The article fi- nally describes two minimalist syntactic constraints：Invisibility Constraint and Subextraction Constraint.
