The Investment of the Western Countries and African Economic Development in the Early Period After World WarⅡ

战后初期西方国家把非洲丰富的资源和廉价的劳动力看成是使自己“康复”的希望 ,因而加大对非洲的投资。非洲各国利用外资 ,发展本国的经济。在基础设施、采矿业、加工业和进口替代业等方面 ,取得了显著的成绩。与此同时 ,在利用外资发展经济这一重大问题上 ,不仅取得了丰富的经验 。

In the early decades after World WarⅡ,regarding African abundant resources and cheap labor as the hope for their“rejuvenation”,the western countries enlarge their investment in Africa.African countries take full advantage of foreign investment to develop their national economy,and consequently score great achievements in such aspects as fundamental facilities,mining,processing industry and import\|substitute industry.However,having accumulated rich experiences in the process of successfully making use of foreign investment,these countries also draw some lessons which are rather worthwile.
