医学的特殊性和当前心理保健重要性的增强 ,要求加强医学生人文素质的培养。医学院校图书馆对学生人文素质的培养更具优势条件 ,可以通过增强主动育人意识 ,提高人文馆藏质量 ,加强导读工作和学生利用图书资料的基本技能培训 ,开展人文信息咨询和交流活动 ,健全人文信息队伍和优化系统教育环境等 ,使图书馆成为有利于学生人文素质培养的职能部门。

The particularity of medicine and the increasing importance of psychological care require that medical students be better trained in humane studies.The libraries of medical colleges are better equipped than the libraries of general science colleges in humane studies.Through strengthening the idea of initiative education,improving collection quality,bettering reading guide,training students to have the basic skills for using books and information;conducting activities to offer consultation and communication in humane knowledge,reinforcing the information staff,and bettering system education environment,libraries will become a functional department beneficial to training the students in their humane knowledge. 〔
