This article focused on the analysis of the application of the technology of relay protection in the electric power system, discussed the existing problems and faults in the relay protection devices from multiple perspectives, elabo- rated overall measures solving the faults of relay protection, improved the efficiency of th electric power system better. Combined with the geographical conditions, operating conditions and other factors, it can reduce electrical faults and the problems of the relay protection through the tightly organizing electrical equipment and electrical lines.
