The author introduces the unique design, function and advantages of a rotary sieve added in the production of fiberglass chopped strands. This sieve has overcome the problems of the original inclined vibrating screen, such as the forming of fuzz balls from flying fuzzes due to the system sealing, and the dropping of unsieved long chops into product bags before bagging. The article describes the calculation of the mass of related parts, the design of vibrating spring, the selection of driving motor and the actual application examples.
