Guangzhou , as the place of origin of Chinese revolution, laid a good foundation for the establishment of the revolutionary united front; Guangzhou, as the place where the Third National Congress of the CPC was held, is the place in which the Revolutionary United Front started; Guangzhou is the place of restructuring of the Chinese Kuomintang and the stronghold of the first KMT-CPC cooperation; Guangzhou is the place of the creation of the Whampoa Military Academy which was the beginning of military cooperation between KMT-CPC. Guangzhou, as the cradle of Chinese Revolutionary United Front, became the center of the Great Revolution.
