摘要
医学英语是专门用途英语(ESP)的一个分支。在医学英语教学中实施ESP教学理念,能够使学生获取未来工作所需的英语能力,使其真正做到学以致用。针对当前中医高等院校的大学英语教学中存在的问题,加强中医高等院校外语教师的师资培养,强化外语教师师资力量,对深化中医高等院校大学英语ESP教学改革有着举足轻重的意义。
Medical English is a branch of English for special purposes （ESP）. The teaching concept of ESP used in medical English teaching enables students to obtain the English skills for future work and to put what they have learned into real use. For the problems existing in current college English teaching in Chinese medicine colleges, foreign language teacher training and faculty should be strengthened. It is of vital significance for deepening the reform of ESP teaching in medicine colleges.
