It shows the breadth and depth of Tibetan culture throughout its changing history. The book is in two parts with twenty-two individual chapters. The first part, which refers to a large number of Tibetan cultural relics and historic sites in the hinterland of China, includes fascinating historical materials, presents a little-known historical background and the ample ethnic cultural connotations of these relics and historic sites. With the help of the author＇s vivid descriptions, we are able to see the unique qualities of Tibetan culture that have evolved under the influence of other ethnic cultures. Moreover, the author elaborates on the historically close fraternal ties between Han and Tibetan nationalities. In the second part, the author reveals the current situation of Tibetan culture and its influence on neighboring countriesand regions （such as Nepal and India） based on her personal investigations there.
