Discuss on Crisis Management in Taiwan Museums

20世纪90年代,在西方博物馆危机管理思想和理论影响下,危机管理理念在台湾博物馆得到传播。台湾自然灾害频繁的现状、馆藏文物受损事件的增多和博物馆媒体公关的需要等原因使台湾对博物馆危机与危机管理的认识不断强化。这种认识是在对通常含义的危机与危机管理理解的基础上结合博物馆实际逐步积累和深化的,具体包括了对博物馆危机的内涵、危机管理涵义、组织架构、危机管理机制和流程的认识。

In the 1990s, with the influence from western museums, the concept of crisis management was widespread in museums in Taiwan. The frequent natural disasters and the increased cases of cultural heritage being damaged as well as the need to well manage public relations of museums have strengthened the understanding of museum crisis and crisis management. Such understanding is gradually accumulated and deepened on the basis of the knowledge of crisis and crisis management in general and the actual situa- tion of museums. Specifically, it concludes the understanding of the connotations of the museum crisis, the meaning of crisis management, the organizational structure, and crisis management mechanism and process.
