《外台秘要》是一部既有重要的文献价值,也有临床实用意义的大型古代方书。《外台》对便秘病症的病因病机、辨证用药规律作了详细的论述,是唐代以前中医学对该病理论和临床实践的一次系统总结,其所总结的辨治规律和方药对当今便秘病症的临床治疗仍具有较高的现实指导意义。拟对《外台》中治疗便秘的病因病机、立法处方、辨治特色等进行分析探讨,以期对临床辨治本病有所裨益。

Waitai Miyao is not only an important documentary value of existing, but also the meaning of the clinical utility of the ancient recipe books. It discussed in details of the constipation disease etiologic factor and pathogenesis, syndrome diferentitation and treatment. It also systematically summarized traditional Chinese medicine theory and clinical practice of the constipation disease before the Tang Dynasty, having a higher practical significance for today＇s clinical treatment of constipation disease. This article introduces its treatment characteristics, its understanding of prescription syndrome and pathomechanism, the use of prescription and herbs and so on, in order to provide an important reference for clinical treatment.
