摘要
以提高英语写作教与学的成效为出发点,本文以130名理工科学生的英语习作为研究对象,以错误分析理论为研究方法,从语言词汇层面和句法层面出发,重点研究母语负迁移会对理工科学生的英语写作产生何种程度的影响。研究结果显示,负迁移对理工科学生英语写作词汇层面的影响主要表现在词汇选择、冠词使用、名词复数形式错误三个方面;对句法层面则主要表现在时态、主谓一致、语序错误三个方面。文章建议广大英语教师和理工科学生要高度重视母语负迁移对英语写作词汇和句法层面所造成的滞后影响,合理应对负迁移,有效提高学生的英语写作能力。
With aim to improve the efficiency of English writing teaching and learning, the writing samples of 130 students majoring in science and engineering are selected as the study subjects. With the error analysis theory as research method, from the perspective of lexical and syntactical level, the study focuses on the affecting degree of native language negative transfer on their English writing. It was found that: The negative influence from native language transfer on lexical level for subjects' writing lies in such three kinds of errors as lexical choice, article use and noun plural form; the negative influence on syntactical level lies in such three kinds of errors as verb tense, subject-predicate agreements and word order. It's hoped that these findings will be hoped to find out the reasons hindering the English writing ability for science and engineering students, thus to help them improve their English writing ability.
