摘要
"QS"世界大学排名和上海交大的"ARWU"世界大学学术排名是影响最大的世界大学排行榜。通过统计分析发现,两项排名的历年数据稳定性均表现较好,但两项排名的结果之间存在明显差异。差异存在的浅层次原因是由于评价体系的不同,深层次原因则是源于评价方法和评价理念上的区别,这种差异显示两者都有可以改进之处。同时,两者差异的存在也有其积极意义,多元评价体系为大学发展和公众选择提供了多角度的参考工具。
Both ＂QS＂ and ＂ARWU＂ are the most influential world university rankings. It is argued that there is a good stability in the two ranking data through statistical analysis of historical data, but there are significant differences between the two rankings in results. On the surface, the differences come from the evaluation system, but the deep-seated reason is due to the difference in the evaluation methods and evaluation concepts, this difference shows that the both rankings can be improved. But the difference also has a positive sense, multi-evaluation system provides multi-angle reference tool for university development and public choice.
