中共十八大首次正式提出"美丽中国"的概念,标志着中国共产党站在新的历史起点上,从国家发展战略层面开始思考并布局"建设什么样的生态中国,怎样建设生态中国"这个中国特色社会主义的重要问题。作为"中国梦"的重要组成,"美丽中国"是在对新世情、新国情和新党情的新变化和新形势进行深刻分析和科学判断的基础上提出来的,具有十分丰富的科学内涵。"美丽中国"思想的发展、丰富和完善,对于实现社会主义现代化国家和民族复兴的总目标,具有重要的理论价值和实践意义。

The＂Beautiful China＂ concept was first proposed on the 18th National Congress of CPC, which marked a historic new start of CPC to reflect on the basic question of ＂what kind of ecological China to build and how＂, along the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. ＂Beautiful China＂ is put forward on the basis of deep analysis and scientific judgment of the world＇s new situation, the state＇s new condition and the CPC＇s new development. It has very rich scientific connotation. Developing, enriching and improving the ＂Beautiful China＂ strategy have very important theoretical value and practical significance for our overall goal of constructing a socialist modern country and the realization of national revival.
