实验实训教学是实现高职培养目标的重要环节。分析了实验实训教学的形式和必要性，高职院校要建立起完善的实践教学体系，确立合理的实训教学模式框架，控制实验实训教学的实施过程，确保实验实训教学质量，并进一步提出了加强高职实验实训基地建设与管理的几点建议。
