生态翻译学视野下《菜根谭》两英译本的对比研究

A Comparative Study on Two Versions of Cai Gen Tan from the perspective of Eco-translatology

生态翻译学理论中"三维"转换的翻译方法是翻译和译评的重要参考标准之一。文章以"三维"原则对《菜根谭》这一典籍的两个英译本进行对比分析,认为译者翻译策略的选取都是对翻译生态环境作出的一种适应性选择。译者只有在语言维、文化维和交际维上适应翻译生态环境进而作出适应性地选择,才能产生合适的译文。

The principle of ＂three dimensions＂ coming from the theory of Eco-translatology is one of the important reference standards of translation and evaluation. On the basis of this translation method this paper compares and analyzes the two English versions of Cai Gen Tan, and arrives at a conclusion that a translator＇s translation method is a choice of appropriate adaptation to eco-environment and a translator should adapt to the translational eco-environment on the dimensions of language, culture, and communication, then an appropriate version could be reached.
