摘要
文章提出了基于平滑选择扫描与动态缓存的快速切换机制,典型的切换过程包括扫描、认证、重关联3个阶段,该快速切换机制主要减少扫描阶段时延,通过平滑选择扫描算法减少了扫描信道的数量并将扫描阶段划分为更小的扫描周期,同时通过动态缓存算法在缓存表命中的情况下省去了扫描阶段。仿真结果表明该切换机制将通信时延降低到50ms以下,满足了无线多媒体业务的传输要求。
A fast handoff mechanism(FHM) based on smooth selective scanning and dynamic caching algorithm is presented. A typical handoff procedure includes scan, authentication and reassociation phases, the mechanism proposed mainly reduces the delay in scan phase. FHM reduces the number of channels to be scanned and divides the scan phase into smaller scan cycles through smooth selective scanning algorithm, and skips the scan phase through dynamic caching algorithm when cache is hit. The simulation results show that FHM reduces the delay to less than 50 ms, meeting the requirements of wireless multimedia services.
