This article briefly introduced the occurrence and damage of maize rough dwarf disease. It also made a systematic exposition to the technology including the artificial rearing of Laodelphax striatellus,inoculation and identification of the disease. Eventually it discussed the application effect of the technical system in screening resistant germplasm resources and cultivating resistant varieties.
