Core competence not only brings competitive advantage that difficult to imitate to enterprises, and also may develop into core rigidity that hinder the healthy development of enterprises. This paper starts with analyzing the failure of Kodak, discusses the causes and serious harm to the enterprise of core rigidity, and finally put forward effective countermeasures for enterprises to overcome core rigidity and promote sustain- able development.
