The developmental rate of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard was determined at the 5 constant temperatures in the laboratory. The developmental zero is, 14.4, 12.8, 11.1, 15.0, 12.5℃, and the effective accumulative temperature is 29.0, 48.9, 136.6, 23.7, 238.2 day-degress for egg, larva, adult, pupa and the whole generation, respectively. The occurrence of generations in 1997 was also tested.
