摘要
目前通用的大学英语教材《新编实用英语》关注对学生听力理解和口语表达方面的训练,但在听说模块构建上有三个缺陷:第一,两册结构雷同,欠缺针对性,区别仅是简单的难度变化;第二,口语部分设计偏难,大部分学生难以适应;第三,对低水平者关注度不高。阶梯构建听说模块是优化第一学年两学期的大学英语听说模块设计,按照循序渐进原则分层次、分重点进行构建。实验证明阶梯构建听说模块明显提高了非英语专业大学生的英语听说水平,不同水平学生均能从阶梯构建听说模块中显著获益,低水平者是最大受益者。
Nowadays the New Practical English Course, as one of college English textbooks commonly used, focuses on the practice of the listening comprehension and the oral expression. The structure of listening and speaking mod- ule, however, has three defects: First, the two volumes which lack pertinence have the same structure and are only different in the simple change of the difficulty; second, most students cannot accommodate to the difficulty of the design of the speaking part; third, students in low level has been paid less attention. The ladder-typed structure of listening and speaking module is designed for an optimized college hstening and speaking module in the two semesters of the first college year, which is followed the principles of the step-by-step with different levels and teaching aims. The experiment proves that the ladder-typed structure of listening and speaking module can obviously improve the English listening and speaking ability of non-English major students. Students in different levels can make progress evidently from the ladder-typed structure of listening and speaking module, and especially students' English ability in low level can raise most.
