Between Reasonability and Distortion——Discussing the writing of goodness of Chi Zijian's short stories

"善"是迟子建短篇小说的一贯追求,在她的一些作品中,一方面能看到人性的闪光,让人们感受到人性的美好,表现了她作为一个作家的良知与追求,这是她对人性善的合理阐释;另一方面,因为过分强调善的作用,使得小说的真实性受损。迟子建在对人性善的合理表述和失真叙述,表现出她内心对善的坚持以及表述时的不足。

Goodness is a consistent pursuit of Chi Zijian＇s short stories. We can feel the goodness of human shining points in some of her works, which make people feel the beauty of human nature. This is the performance of her conscience and pursuit as a writer. It is also a reasonable writing of goodness. On the other hand, the au- thenticity of her novels is distorted because of her overemphasis on the role of goodness. Chi Zijian~ reasonable ex- pression of human goodness and distorted narration of goodness indicate her persistence of goodness and insufficient statement.
