本文从学生情况、教学现状和课程作用等方面探讨了文科专业开设VB程序设计课程的目的、意义和方式方法,着眼于结合现实情况通过教学目标、课程内容、教学模式和教学方式方法的改革,探讨如何更好的发挥VB程序设计课程的作用,使学生了解程序设计的基本知识和基本方法,培养逻辑思维能力,改善思维方式。

This paper explains the purpose and the significance of running the course of Programming with Microsoft VB for liberal arts majors and introduces the teaching methods through the analysis on students＇ current learning situation, teaching situation and course function. The research, considering the current teaching situatio,~, aims to explore the role of the course of Programming with Microsoft VB in cultivating the students by changing the teaching aims, teaching contents, teaching modes and teaching methods and to help the students know well of the fundamental knowledge and basic skills about the course and to cultivate their ability of logical thinking and modify their thinking modes.
