以龙虎山世界地质公园为平台的旅游地学建设

Construction of Tourism Earth-science Based on the Longhushan World Geo-park

旅游地学是指运用地质学、地理学知识为旅游地质资源的保护与开发服务的新兴学科。近年来,东华理工大学利用自身学科优势,以龙虎山世界地质公园为平台,大力开展旅游地学建设:一是开展丹霞地貌旅游资源保护与开发科学研究,为地方政府发展旅游出谋献策;二是开展科学旅游与地学知识普及工作,使得高校与广大市民接"地气";三是通过科研促教学,锻炼了教师的教学科研能力,促进了人文地理、旅游地学人才的培养。

Tourism earth-science is a new discipline for tourism geological resources protection and developmentbased on geology and geography knowledge. In recent years, East China Institute of Technology has carried outtourism earth-science construction based on its own discipline advantages and Longhushan world geo-park. First- ly, it launches the research on the tourism resources protection and development of Danxia landform so as to offer help for the local government to develop tourism; secondly, it carries out the popularization of scientific tourism and geological knowledge ; thirdly, it trains the teachers＇ ability of teaching and scientific research to promote the cultivation of talents of human geography and tourism earth-science.
