The origins of tumors:local or whole?

摘要 经典的肿瘤起源理论认为肿瘤起源于局部。越来越多的证据显示,肿瘤起源于全身而非局部。我们推测:肿瘤起源于肿瘤起始细胞的随机漫游;在合适的微环境中,肿瘤起始细胞停滞并复制;肿瘤细胞刺激形成肿瘤微环境;转移只是肿瘤起始细胞在多个适宜微环境中的生长。 Classical theories of origin for cancer assume that cancer can originate from the local body. In- creased evidence shows that cancer can originate from the whole body trot not local. We postulate that tumors orig- inate from the origin cells of which tumor stagnate and replicate in suitable microenvironment. Moreover, tumor cells promote the form of tumor microenviromnent, and tumor metastasis is only the growth of cancer initiating cells in suitable microenvironment.
