摘要
景点公示语不仅向外国游客提供信息,而且兼具传达旅游目的地人文风貌等功能。要做有关翻译首先要了解公共标识语的语言特征和风格及翻译的原则。基于此,选取亳州主要景点为研究对象,实地探析了当地公示语的翻译现状,进而提出了相关的改进建议。
Public signs not only offer information to foreign tourists but also convey local cultural image. Before translating them, translators should know their language features, styles and translation principles. This paper takes Bozhou attractions as research sub- ject, analyses the English translation of public signs of Bozhou attractions and gives its corresponding suggestions.
