The paper introduced the brief introduction of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange and the background of the steam coal futures. The paper systematically stated the contract setting, delivery time and place, premiums and discounts and other is- sues in the trading of the steam coal futures. The paper had a brief statement on the performances of the listed steam coal fu- tures.
