It is the key technology to realize the integration of CAD/CAM/CAE to create the consistent product defining model.Based on the analysis of traditional technology in cylinder head development process,a new consistent product definition technology named multi-model technology (MMT) is presented in this paper and is applied in the cylinder head modeling.The 3D multiple model structure of cylinder head and the integration scheme based on MMT in cylinder head end-to-end process are researched.It takes only 10 months for a new cylinder head from concept design to the market with the application of this technology.
