病原体可以通过母亲胎盘传播给胎儿引起先天性感染,导致死胎、死产、发育异常。先天性感染的严重程度与发生感染的时期有关。多数患有先天性感染的新生儿为隐性感染。提高对先天性感染的认识,有助于早期诊断和治疗先天性感染。

If a woman is infected during pregnancy, pathogenic microorganisms can cross the placenta and cause congenital in-fections in fetus and newborn infants. Congenital infections can cause fetal death, stillbirths and fetal growth failure. The severity of con-genital infections of newborn infants is associated with infected time of the mother during the pregnancy. Most newborn infants with con-genital infections are asymptomatic. The further understanding of congenital infection could improve the early diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
