Microbial Prospecting of Shale Gas for Well Yuye 2 in the Southeast of Chongqing Area

页岩气是一种非常规油气藏资源,利用油气微生物勘探(MPOG)技术寻找页岩气富集区域尚属首次,该技术可以有效圈定微生物异常,从而大大增加页岩气勘探的成功率。通过分析MPOG结果,结合微生物异常特征及地质解释,对渝东南渝页2井区页岩气有利富集区进行预测,并对其勘探前景作出了相应的评价。

Shale gas was a kind of unconventional oil and gas resource.It was the first use of microbial prospecting of oil and gas(MPOG)technology for looking for shale gas enrichment area.The technology could be effectively located the microbiological anomaly,by which the success rate of shale gas exploration could be greatly improved.The MPOG resultis used and in combination with the characteristics of microbiological anomaly and geologic interpretation,the favorable gas accumulation zone in Well Yuye 2of the southeast of Chongqing Area is predicted,a corresponding evaluation is conducted on the prospects of oil and gas exploration.
