Taking the era of information surveying and mapping as the background, this paper introduced the application methods of precise posi- tioning, GPS elevation measurement, high-rise buildings location measurement and other new technologies in engineering measurement, pointed out that the application situation of deeply researching information surveying and mapping method in engineering measurement, had important sig- nificance to improve construction quality, efficiency.
