Experimental investigation of heat transfer characteristics on the endwall of a linear cascade was carried out in a large scale low speed open loop heat transfer wind tunnel. The distribution of local heat transfer coefficients on the endwall was measured by using the heat film method. Test Reynolds number based on inlet velocity and the chord length of the blade ranged from 75 000 to 300 000. The influence of Reynolds number on heat transfer on the endwall without film cooling was studied. The dimensionless correlation between St number and Re number based on endwall average values is provided.
