A Discussion on the Code of Building Design

本文对建筑设计规范的历史沿革进行了简要梳理,并对东西方规范的差异进行了横向对比。笔者结合自己的若干设计案例,对实践过程中遇到的与规范有关的矛盾进行分析,在此基础上对现行建筑设计规范的培训学习及应用情况进行了反思。笔者认为规范只是一种手段而非最终目的,我们遵守规范不仅仅是为了提高效率与建立秩序,而是在此基础上让人们的生活更具有安全感、尊严感和自由度。

This paper surveyed the historical evolution of the code of building design, discussed the difference between the East and the West. Based on the author＇s own design practice, the confliction between the code and reality was analyzed. The training and application of the code were also rethinked profoundly. The author believes that to obey the code is not only for efficiency and orderliness, but also for serving the people with more safety, dignity and freedom.
