叶片挤出机中聚合物熔体流动特性的数值模拟

Numerical Simulation of Polymer Melt Flow Characteristics in Vane Extruder

摘要 应用POLYFLOW软件对叶片挤出机中聚合物熔体的流动特性进行了数值模拟。结果表明:叶片单元内熔体的流场压力沿轴向方向(即熔体输送方向)逐渐降低,在相邻两单元进出口处压力梯度较大,同时流场压力沿圆周方向的分布呈阶梯状;流场速度在相邻单元进出口附近轴向速度梯度较大,存在拉伸流动。 Numerical simulation was performed with the POLYFLOW software to investigate melt flow characteristics in the vane extruder. The results show that the fluid pressure decreases along the axial direction where the melt is conveyed. It is found that the pressure gradients around the transaction area between two vane units are large and the pressure of flow field shows a gradient distribution along circumferential direction. There are high velocity gradients around the transaction area between two vane units which generate elongational flow.
