This article introduces a method to measure the axial mould release force for a plastic bobbin which is cooled outside the mould cavities for setting;an- alyses the factors and steps which influence and reduce the axial mould release force.In this way the author provides theoretical grounds for the design of plas tic bobbin construction and forming technology.
