After a summary description of various copy millers nowadays used in China's knitting mills,the paper analyses the characteristics of copy milling cutters for knitting needles manufacture,introduces the key factors in design of copy milling cutters with point-shape teeth and spade-shape teeth,machine tool for the cutter's tooth-back making,blade grinding as well as the influence of the change of the cutter's outdiameter upon the profile of the workpiece etc.
