The technology of vacuum suction and solidification under pressure was analyzed on the bases of the self developed archetype equipment. Typical casting has been produced with developed gating system on the equipment. It was found that the vacuum suction and solidification under pressure is one of the most suitable technologies to produce large dimension with thin wall aluminium castings.
