摘要
采用标准0.18μm CMOS工艺,设计了一款应用于900MHz UHF RFID读写器的有源I/Q正交上混频器。通过直流电平转换电路控制I/Q支路的信号输入,实现了ISO/IEC 18000-6协议所要求的3种调制方式(SSB-ASK,DSB-ASK和PR-ASK),并且实现了可控调制深度。在进行SSB-ASK调制时,得到的仿真结果为:上混频器的输入1dB压缩点为-3dBV,转换增益为2.34dB,输出1dB压缩点为-1dBm,镜像边带抑制比为-40dBc,双边带噪声系数为14.68dB。
An active switchable I/Q up-mixer for 900 MHz band UHF RFID reader was designed based on 0. 18 μm standard CMOS process. The mixer could realize three modulation schemes: SSB-ASK, DSB-ASK and PR- ASK, specified in ISO/IEC 18000-6 protocol, by using a DC level shifter to control signal input of I/Q branches, and its modulation depth was controllable. Post-layout simulation showed that, in SSt3-ASK modulation mode, the up-mixer achieved an input-referred 1-dB compression point of -3.3 dBV, an output-referred 1-dB compression point of -1 dBm, a conversion gain of 2.34 dB, an image rejection ratio (IRR) of -40 dBc, and a dual side band (DSB) noise figure of 14.68 dB.
