An Investigation into a New Battery Balancing Solution for Electric Vehicles

摘要 提出了一种新的利用电感和电容实现单体电池间能量转移的双向均衡方案。均衡电路简单,巧妙地引入了一个双向晶闸管,限制了电感的储能方向,通过电感暂存来提高电容的能量转移能力,提高了均衡效率。在Matlab-Simulink环境下搭建了电池和均衡电路模型,并进行了仿真实验。结果验证了此方法的可行性。 A new balancing solution is proposed, which utilizes an inductor and a capacitor to realize bidi- rectional energy transfer between single cells. The balancing circuit is simple, and it introduces a TRIAC skillfully to limit the energy storing direction of inductor and enhances the energy transfer ability of capacitor by temporarily storing energy in inductor, so the balancing efficiency is improved. The models for battery cell and balancing circuit are built and a simulation experiment is conducted. The results verify the feasibility of the balancing scheme proposed.
