摘要
中国古诗在意象营造、意象并置及简练含蓄等方面为美国意象派诗歌提供了营养,对意象派的形成和发展产生了重要影响。然而,其影响实现的过程并非等量和直线,而是误读视阈下的一种再阐释、再理解。其一是汉学家和意象派诗人的汉诗译作存在诸多误译成分,如把格律严谨的中国诗译成了自由诗、通过"拆字法"翻译而导致对原诗本意之偏离、通过"拆句"充分突出意象等;其二是在物我关系的观照上,意象派所理解的意象与中国古诗的文学意象殊异,前者侧重于"象",后者强调于"意"。这里既有东西方文化差异所致的无意误读成分,但更主要是基于革新传统维多利亚诗风的一种自觉、故意的文学行为。
Ancient Chinese poems have provided nutrition in terms of creation of images, juxtaposition of images and briefness and connotations for American imagism, and thus have exerted great influences on the formation and development of American imagism. However, the process of such a realization is not equivalent and linear, but a re-interpretation and re-understanding after misreading. On the one hand, there are a lot of mistakes in the translation from ancient Chinese poems into English by sinologist and imagists. For instance, ancient Chinese poems of rigid rhymes are translated into free-style poems. On the other hand, in terms of the reflection between ideas and images, the images by American imagism differ greatly from the images in ancient Chinese poems, with the former focusing on "images" while the latter on "ideas". This has been caused by the misreading due to cultural differences and an intentional behavior.
