Beijing Design Week 2013(BJDW)took place from September 26 through to the Golden Week until October 3,2013.The third edition of BJDW is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Science and Technology,the Ministry of Culture and Beijing Municipal Government,and co-organized by Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group and Beijing Industrial Design Center.With the theme of"design capital,smart city",BJDW featured a series of creative and inspiring events,including the Opening Series,the Design Award competition,the thematic exhibitions,the
Beijing Design Week 2013 （BJDW） took place from September 26 through to the Golden P Week until October 3, 2013. The third editionof BJDW is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Culture and Beijing Municipal Government, and co-organized by Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group and Beijing Industrial Design Center.With the theme of＂design capital, smart city＂, BJDW featured a series of creative and inspiring events, including the Opening Series, the Design Award competition, the thematic exhibitions, the Design Class, the Guest City of Amsterdam, the Journey of Design and Design Season, etc. Altogether, 260 events and activities were held during BJDW, from exhibitions to lectures, from annual sessions to trade fairs, from receptions to experience workshops.
