摘要
《墨经》"以名举实"的名实观,涉及到的是"名"对于"实"的指称问题。根据所指称之"实"的不同情况,《墨经》对"名"进行了不同的分类。《墨经》认为,名不必实,实不必名,名实之间并非一一对应关系。与实指的指称方式相比,用"名"来指称"实"更具概括性和适用性。
The relationship between names and things is how names refer to things in Mohist Canon. There are different methods to identify kinds of names based on differ- ent states of denoted things in the Canon. According to the idea of Canon, some things maybe not need denoted names, and some names maybe refer to nothing, and the rela- tionship between names and things are not one-to-one correspondence. The way of names referring to things is more general and applicable than the way of fingers refer- ring to things.
