SIMA Qian＇ s ＂Historical Records＂ （Shift）contains rich cultural ideal. ＂A Biography of Boyi and Shuqi＂ （Boyi and Shuqi Liezhuan）as the first biography, a biography by name, but, in fact, a statement by SIMA Qian, summarized all his main ideas and contained the basic spirit of Chinese culture, in which SIMA Qian showed his re- sentment, his confusion, and, more remarkably, his impartial nature and his moral stand behind the words. We have learned about his unique and profound moral values after reading the book.
