为“身体美学”一辩——与周宇春教授《走出“身体美学”的误区》商榷

A Discussion in Defence of Somaesthetics

身体美学是当前美学研究的一个新的学术话题,是对主客二元对立的意识美学的反思与纠偏。由于周文仍然固守意识美学的窠臼,不但未能走出身体美学的误区,还可能把身体美学研究推向了更大的"误区"。基于舒斯特曼身体美学的重要思想,周文在身体美学理解上存在有待商榷的三个问题:一是周文在对身体美学的理解上把"身体"仅仅理解为生理-物理意义上的机械的身体而非身心一体意义上"身体意识";二是其对身体美学仅仅理解为身体自身的妆饰之术而非对身体经验的自我改善;三是只承认身体的理论性而忽视了身体美学的实践性。这与舒斯特曼所倡导的身体美学思想判若云泥。

Although Richard Shusterman＇ s thoughts of somaesthetics have become the focus of aesthetics, many Chinese scholars still have different understandings of it. Having read Professor ZHOU Yu - chun＇ s article, thor of this paper wants to discuss some problems with Professor Zhou from three aspects. First, he regards the au- body as the physical and biological body but not as the unity of body and mind ; second, he regards somaesthetics as surface adornment of the body but not as the inner meliorism body ; third, he only emphasizes the theories of body but neg- lects the practices of body. The article returns to the original thoughts of Shusterman＇ s somaesthetics by discussing with Professor Zhou.
