摘要
女性主义莎评在近年来取得了令人瞩目的成绩,但在对莎翁女性观的解读方面,评论家们各执一词。莎翁在其四大浪漫主义喜剧中塑造了很多杰出的女性人物,却又在其著名悲剧中将女性人物边缘化和弱势化。莎翁的女性观不能以一言蔽之,因为莎翁本身就是由普通伊丽莎白人和伟大艺术家合成的矛盾统一体。
Feminist studies of Shakespeare have been assimilated into the main stream in recent years and have achieved a very impressive influence, yet they often contradict each other in their conclusions. Shakespeare has created many giant-like female figures in his romantic comedies, yet, he has also marginalized the female figures in his major tragedies. It's improper to summarize Shakespeare's attitude toward females in a simple word, instead, a more objective perspective should be adopted in the study of it, for the duality of Shakespeare as a common Elizabethan and a great artist should be taken into consideration.
