To study composition of soil animals and characteristics of temperal and spatial distribution at spruce plantation in Miyaluo, the segregate efficiency of soil animals among the 0-5 cm,5-10 cm to 10-15 em layer under various seasons was study in 2007 to 2008 Using Tullgren and Baermann methods. The result shows showed that 473 micro-fauna specimens collected, belonging to 3 phyla,5 classes,15 orders,Coleoptera adult (20.29 %),Hemiptera (17.55 %),Coleoptera larvae (17.55 %) and Megadrile oligochaetes (10.57 %) were dominant groups.4859 meso-fauna specimens collected, belonging to 4 phyla,7 classes,16 orders,Nemata(71.48 %) and arthropleona (12.90 %) were dominant groups.Soil animals were principally assembled on surface layer. The Shannon-Weiner diversity H' index,Pielou E index Simpson C index, and Margalef D index suggested that, soli animal community structure had significantly various trends with seasons and were susceptibility to perturbation by anthropogenie acts. The study provided the basic data for the study of soil animal diversity of artificial forest area of Hengduan mountains.Based on this,we could draw the conclusion that the composition and structure of soil animals community at spruce plantation in Miyaluo in different seasons were various and the diversity was low and easy to be affected by seasons.
