《诗品》“晋记室左思”条释读——兼与袁著《中国文学史》商榷

《诗品》"晋记室左思"条中"文"指左思的五言诗;"典"不是今人所谓的典故,而是指一种重在表情达意,适度加以藻饰,既不轻靡也不朴野的语言风格;"怨"突出了左思诗歌的感情特质,是缘事而发的哀怨之情;"精切"应作"情切",即感情深切之意;"讽喻"指用适度修饰的文辞表达愤世之情。袁著《中国文学史》对这段文字的解释不够准确。

In the part about Zuo Si＇ s Poems in Shi Pin ： the ＂prose＂ refers to the Five - Word Poems written by Zuo Si ; the ＂allusion＂ is not the so - called literary quotation of modem people, but a style of language namely focu- sing on emotion expression, moderate embellishments, neither pompous nor rough. The ＂resentment＂ highlights the emotional qualities of Zuo Si＇ s poetry and is the plaintive feelings. The ＂allegory＂ refers to detesting the world with the moderately modified diction. The interpretations in History of Chinese Literature are not accurate enough.
