In order to meet the needs of new-type equipment ,and based on analyzing the four main characteristics of new-type complex equipment such as relevancy of systems and complex failure , congenital deficiency and frequent technical states ,expensive price and high cost for formation of re-quirement capacity ,high level of application and employ strength ,the paper brings forward new re-quirements of equipment maintenance and support .All above will advance the capability of equipment maintenance and support .
